Climate Action & Tree Planting Drive – June 2022

In partnership with local schools and youth groups, TPWI organized a climate awareness campaign in Kitengela. The event focused on educating families about the effects of climate change on pastoralist livelihoods and the importance of sustainable practices. More than 500 trees were planted by women, youth, and children as symbols of resilience and environmental stewardship.
