At Transforming Pastoralist Women Initiative (TPWI), our events bring people together to learn, dialogue, and take action. Each event is a step toward empowering women and girls, strengthening families, and building resilient communities.

Our mission is simple yet powerful: to empower women and girls in pastoralist communities through education, mentorship, health, and climate resilience.
Through events—ranging from mentorship forums to climate awareness campaigns—we create safe spaces where ideas are shared, voices are amplified, and communities unite around common goals. Our vision is to see a generation of pastoralist women and girls thriving with dignity, opportunity, and equal access to resources.

A Journey of Impact

Since 2018, TPWI has organized impactful events across Kajiado County and beyond:

• Mentorship Forums that have inspired hundreds of girls to stay in school and dream big.

• Community Dialogues challenging harmful cultural practices while promoting gender equality.

• Policy Engagement Events where women and youth voices influence county-level decisions.

• Climate Action Campaigns mobilizing families to adopt sustainable practices for a greener future.
